The Code Is the One Part of the Design You Can't Fix

A client asks for “a QR code” on the menu. You grab one from a free generator, it goes to print, and then:

  • The link had a typo, and 2,000 flyers are already out
  • The client changes their menu or website next month
  • The promotion ends, but the posters stay up
  • The client asks whether anyone scanned it, and nobody knows

Every one of those ends in a reprint, and the client remembers who designed it. A dynamic code can be repointed after printing and counts every scan, so your work keeps doing its job.

Static vs dynamic QR codes, explained

What Partners Get

Better deliverables for your clients, and income that grows with every one you bring.

20% recurring commission

Earn on every payment your referred clients make for 12 months—not a one-off bounty for the first invoice

A free partner account

10 dynamic codes with logos, colours, and print-ready downloads for your portfolio and client pitches

A discount to offer clients

Clients who sign up through your link get 20% off their first month—an easy yes when you recommend it

Clean handoff to the client

The client owns the account and pays for it. You join their workspace to build the codes, so there is nothing to untangle when the job ends

How It Works

It fits into the job you are already doing.

  1. 1

    Apply for a partner account

Create a free Qrelux account and apply from the Referrals page. We review every application and email you the outcome.

  2. 2

Send the link when a job needs a QR code

Menus, flyers, packaging, signage—your client signs up with your link and gets a 14-day free trial, then 20% off their first month.

  3. 3

Build it, print it, get paid

They invite you into their workspace, you design the code into the artwork, and you earn 20% of what they pay for 12 months.

What It Adds Up To

Most designers work with a handful of repeat clients. Each one that subscribes pays you every month, not just once.

Partner questions

How much do I earn?

20% of every payment a client you referred makes, for their first 12 months as a paying customer. Commission starts when they pay their first invoice, not when they start the free trial.

Does my client have to use my link?

Yes. The link is how we know the client came from you, and it has to be used when they create their account. Each account can only be referred once, so send it before they sign up on their own.

What happens to printed codes if my client stops paying?

They keep working. Codes already in circulation keep redirecting; plan limits only apply to what the client creates next. Your artwork will never send people to a dead link because a subscription lapsed.

What is included in the free partner account?

10 dynamic codes with full design options and print-ready downloads—enough for your portfolio and for showing clients what they are getting. Live client work belongs in the client's own account, which is what earns you commission.

Do I need to be a professional designer?

No. Freelancers, print shops, studios, and social media managers are all welcome. If you put QR codes in front of clients, the program is for you.

When and how do I get paid?

Payouts are made monthly, by bank transfer once your balance passes ₦10,000. Your Referrals dashboard shows every client you have referred and whether they have signed up, verified, or started paying.

Who owns the account and the codes?

Your client. They sign up, pay for their own plan, and invite you into their workspace as a team member to build and manage the codes. As a partner you don't use up one of their seats, even on a single-user plan. If you stop working together, they remove you and everything stays exactly where it is.

Why not just use a free QR generator?

A free generator bakes the link into the pattern, so a typo, a changed menu, or an expired promotion means a reprint—and the client blames the design. A dynamic code can be repointed after printing and shows the client how many people scanned it.

How do I become a partner?

Create a free account, open Referrals, and apply with your business name, a link to your work, and a line about your clients. Until your application is approved, anyone you refer earns you a free month instead of commission.

Not a designer? Can I still refer people?

Yes. Every Qrelux account has a referral link. When someone you refer makes their first payment, you each get a free month, applied automatically at your next renewal.

How to Put a Logo in a QR Code Without Breaking It

A logo in the middle of a code is not a trick or a hack. It works because QR codes carry redundant data. The question is how much of that redundancy you can spend before the code stops scanning.
